Houston man charged with raping teen & toddler
A Houston teen and toddler got HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases after being raped by a registered sex offender.
David Richard Wilson allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl as well as a 23-month-old toddler. The 33-year-old man, who is now facing serious charges of sexual assault, was previously convicted in a 2005 sexual assault of another teenage girl and was sent to prison for four years.
In both cases, the victims were infected with sexually transmitted diseases. Family members of the teen came to know about the reality in November 2013, when they took the girl to a hospital, where doctors found a growth on her genitals.
Test results came positive for HIV, herpes and chlamydia. Doctors also revealed that the girl was pregnant with Wilson's child. The girl later told her family members that Wilson had sex with her near her high school. Wilson is reportedly the teen's mother's ex-boy friend.
Hospital authorities told police investigators that it was clear that the teen and the toddler had been sexually abused. Law enforcement authorities confirmed that the infant was also diagnosed with STD chlamydia.
Wilson is now being held without bond on charges of sexual assault and super-aggravated sexual assault on children.
