Lost delivered after 83 Years to Maine Family
A letter that was written by a Maine school teacher in 1931 for her mother has been delivered after 83 years later.
Miriam McMichael was 23 years old when she wrote the 9 page letter nine-page letter from Houlton, Maine to her mother, Dollena McMichael in Pittsfield, Maine. Both the women have died since then. The letter was lost and was only found at the Pittsfield post office recently.
Officials identify teen found dead in Lebanon
Police officials in the state of Maine have been able to identify a teen, who was found stabbed to death Saturday in Lebanon in the state.
The authorities released the name of a young New Hampshire man, who was found at the location on Saturday. The victim has been identified as 18years old Aaron Wilkinson from Madbury, New Hampshire, said New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, Maine State Police Colonel Robert L. Quinn and Madbury Police Chief Joseph McGann.

Robert Shufelt, who was a Franklin County jail guard, has lost an appeal alleging that he was subjected to disability discrimination.
He claimed that he was fired in March 2012 because of disability discrimination. He was removed from his job following a reported assault on a prison inmate at Franklin County jail. The Maine Human Rights Commission voted 3-1 on Monday to uphold the findings of the investigator that there were no reasonable grounds indicating any discrimination.

The main aim of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission is to understand the suffering of the members of the Wabanaki tribes who were taken from their families by the state and were placed under foster care or boarding schools during the previous century.
