We Exhibit ‘Inattentional Deafness’ to Sound while being indulged in Visionary Task

Have you ever tried to get attention of someone busy in reading book, playing video game or watching TV or computer? You don’t have to worry now as you are not being intentionally ignored for not receiving response from your friend. Moreover, from next time whenever your friend ignores you while doing some visional task, don’t ever fight with him. Researchers from the University College London has come up with a new term called ‘inattentional deafness’, which states that concentrating one’s attention on a visual task can makes person temporarily deaf.

Salty regions could be behind bright spots on Dwarf planet Ceres: NASA Research

Ceres has been throwing mysteries on astronomers and the recently noticed bright spots on the dwarf planet were hot topic of discussion among space scientists. NASA’s Dawn spacecraft has sent some close images of Ceres and NASA team working on the project has made a video with the images taken by Dawn mission. The bright spots on Ceres could be due to high salt concentration regions on the dwarf planet.

After finding a solar super-flare on a star similar to our sun has led researchers predict that earth’s sun is also capable of producing such super-flare that can prove destructing for earth. Researchers at University of Warwick located the super-flare on the star, called KIC9655129, using data gathered by NASA’s Kepler space telescope.
