High concentrations of silica on Mars found by Curiosity Rover

American space agency NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity has found higher than expected concentrations of silica, suggesting considerable water activity on the Red Planet.

The Curiosity rover has for some time been exploring the Bagnold Dune Field on the Red Planet’s lower Mount Sharp. While Sand Dunes are quite common on our Earth, it is the first time that a dune field has been found on Mars.

According to a bill, France has passed on Thursday aiming at making the use of super skinny fashion models banned in the fashion industry, the models will need to obtain a medical approval by doctor to work in the industry.

The French National Assembly’s passed law wants models to visit a doctor, and asks for photographs that have been edited to change the appearance of a model to carry a caption that indicates the alteration. BBC News reported that the aim of the law is to do away with the use of ‘excessively thin’ models.
